About Hometowne Quilt Auctions
Hometowne Auction LLC is a family owned and operated quilt auction enterprise owned by Marlin and Nancy Becker. The Beckers purchased the well known and respected Quilt and Craft Auction from A & C Diffenbach Auction, Inc. in 2007. The Quilt and Craft Auction had been in operation for 15 years. As the new proprietors, Marlin and Nancy will continue the quilt auction basically as it has been conducted by the Diffenbachs and will utilize many of the same valuable personnel and system used by the Diffenbachs.
The only changes will be the location of the auction; now at the Liberty Fire Hall in New Holland, PA (about 4 blocks from the Diffenbach Auction Center). Additionally, at this time, Hometowne Quilt Auctions will not be selling crafts. However, if there is enough interest expressed for crafts, we may decide to hold craft auctions in the future.
The Beckers bring over 30 years of experience in the auction business. Marlin is currently the sale organizer and set-up manager for the respected auction firm Kline, Krieder & Good Auctioneers.
